Amazon Echo Devices Are Spontaneously Laughing And There Is Nothing People Can Do To Stop It

by Kailee

Owners of Amazon Echo devices have taken to social media to report their Paranormal Activity-esque experiences with voice-enabled assistant Alexa, whose recent spontaneous bouts of laughter have become a horror story nightmare for owners.

It's bad enough that the devices are listening in on our conversations. Now, it seems as though technology is just poking fun at our ordinary, human selves.

Some users have posted that Alexa gives off an evil laugh, like a real person. If that were me, I'd be burning the house down with Alexa inside.

In an update, Amazon has shared that, 'in rare circumstances, Alexa can mistakenly hear the phrase "Alexa, laugh".'
