A Depressed Person Texted The Wrong Number Thinking It Was The Crisis Line And The Response Was Pleasantly Surprising
Be prepared to feel a little emotional.
One wrong text message can change the whole tone of a day, and in this case, it turned into something unexpectedly human. A man who was struggling with depression meant to reach a crisis line, but his message landed with a pasta company instead.
What could have been a simple wrong-number exchange became a moment of real compassion. Instead of brushing him off, the person on the other end recognized that the message was about much more than lasagna noodles, and the response surprised him.
It started as a mistake, but the reply made it feel like someone was finally listening.
They are seriously awesome.

Sarah received the text, which was regarding lasagna noodles, but she knew it meant far more. She could tell that the issue went beyond noodles and was actually a serious and possibly life-threatening situation. She went on to let the person know that she was there for them and that things would get better.
That reply changed the whole exchange.
That “I meant well” feeling is similar to the AITA where a friend offered relationship advice to the boyfriend and it backfired.
